Stewart Canyon

Lake Minnewanka is a magical place all year round, on sunny afternoons, the shoreline trail is illuminated in warmth and draws in happy hikers. Those willing to venture further than the lakeshore are rewarded by an enchanting trail into Stewart Canyon. Diverging from the lake where the Cascade River flows, the Stewart Canyon trail winds 3.8 km along the deeply carved banks of the rocky gorge.
