Takkakaw Falls

It’s among the highest waterfalls in all of Canada and easily one of the most dramatic. The rushing waters of Takakkaw Falls seem to appear from deep within the rock before they plunge downwards for more than 250 metres of vertical drop. The freefalling waves crash onto the rocks below and split into a million tiny droplets in one of nature’s most hypnotic shows.

If you followed the trails down the river below the waterfall, you would find a treasure trove of smaller falls with names as playful as their alpine settings.
