Q: Should I buy my Park Pass online?
A: Purchasing online before your trip allows you to plan ahead and arrive prepared. It is often the most convenient option for visitors travelling directly into Banff National Park.
Q: Where can I buy a Park Pass?
A: Park Passes can be purchased online, at park gates when entering Banff National Park, or at Parks Canada visitor centres.
Q: Do I need to print my Park Pass?
A: Yes. Day Passes and temporary Discovery Passes must be printed and clearly displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle while within Banff National Park.
Q: How will I receive my Discovery Pass?
A: Discovery Passes are mailed to the address provided at the time of purchase. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery. Discovery Passes cannot be shipped to hotels, hostels, vacation rentals, or temporary accommodations.
Q: Do you ship Discovery Passes to the United States?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to ship Discovery Passes to the United States at this time.
If you're visiting from the U.S., please plan to purchase your pass in person upon arrival at a Parks Canada visitor centre or park entry gate. Please note that we cannot ship Discovery Passes to hotels, vacation rentals, or other accommodations. Passes must be purchased in person when you arrive.
Q: Are Park Pass purchases refundable?
A: No. All Park Pass sales are final and non-refundable. Please confirm your travel dates and plans before purchasing.

Q: Am I eligible for free admission at Parks Canada sites?
A: Free admission may be available in person at Parks Canada sites for those who meet eligibility criteria.
