Mt. Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift
A ride up the Mount Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift is an open-air adventure that ascends to more than 2000 metres above sea level. Up here in the high alpine, you’re more likely to be sharing the views with marmots and pikas than fellow adventurers.
This is not an experience to rush through. It takes time to take in Banff’s iconic landmarks from above – from the comparatively small summit of Tunnel Mountain and the precipitous slopes of Mount Rundle. Spot the aptly-named Vermilion Lakes and the turquoise Bow River that winds into town, nestled at the feet of giants.
