Indigenous Mural Walking Tours

Set out on a 60 minute walking tour at the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Along the trail, encounter 10 vibrant mural boxes that bring the voices of Indigenous artists to life—each one sharing powerful stories, traditions, and connections to this land through bold, breathtaking artwork.

This collection of mural boxes was created by artists from the Îyârhe Nakoda (Chiniki, Goodstoney and Bearspaw), Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Tsuut’ina, Ktunaxa, Secwépemc and Métis.
