Re-opening Guidelines

Please find below all relevant guidelines to help businesses and workplaces re-open in Alberta. The resources include mandatory provincial guidance applicable to all business, as well as additional, and more specific guidance from the province related to individual sectors. The provincial guidance is augmented with sector-specific guidance from industry organizations to provide additional context and considerations for planning, and to help fill gaps where provincial guidance is not currently available.

In collaboration with a cross-section of members and our local Alberta Health Services (AHS) representative, we also assembled a summary of best practices that align with provincial guidance, and recommend standards for implementation for our destination. The key to a successful reopening will involve the entire business community coming together to deliver the highest standards for health and safety while at the same time, delivering upon the warm hospitality and exceptional guest experiences we are known for.
