Learn about getting here.Day 01
Begin your romantic escape in Lake Louise, where the opening scenes of Episode 4 of “Can This Love Be Translated?” capture the destination’s breathtaking beauty. Book a stay in a cozy cabin near the lake for a truly immersive mountain experience.
After settling in to your accommodation, make your way to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for Afternoon Tea. Enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones, and panoramic views of the frozen lake that invite quiet connection. Advance reservations are highly recommended.
With elevated spirits, step outside to skate along the frozen surface of Lake Louise. Glide hand-in-hand as you take in the mountain views and savour the moment together.
Day 02
Begin the day with another classic winter activity: cross-country skiing. Then, transition from active adventure to quiet romance with a horse-drawn sleigh ride along the shores of Lake Louise.
End the day with fondue for two at The Walliser Stube.
Day 03
Wake up in the morning to catch the sunrise in Lake Louise before heading to Banff for Day 3. First stop: an intimate brunch at Bluebird Wood-fired Steakhouse. Their souffle pancakes are not to be missed!
After brunch, stroll through downtown Banff and retrace the steps of the show’s characters in Episode 4. Visit local stores shown in the series, including Banff Candy Shoppe, Big Bear Trading Co., Mary’s Popcorn Shop, Beavertails, Helly Hansen, Rocks and Gems, Jeff Walker Gallery, The Spirit Of Christmas, and Cascade Gifts.
Continue along Banff Avenue to the Bow River Bridge, where sweeping mountain vistas await. Cross the bridge to enter the Cascade of Time Gardens. Both attractions are featured prominently in Episode 4.
For dinner, return to Banff Avenue and find a table at St. James’ Gate Olde Irish Pub, a familiar spot from Episode 4.
End your day with tickets to the Banff Gondola’s Nightrise event. As light and sound transform the summit, cozy up beneath the night sky and let the magic of winter surround you.
Day 04
Echoing moments from Episode 6 of “Can This Love Be Translated?”, the next activity we recommend on your journey of romance is to a scenic frozen waterfall. These icy pillars create a dramatic setting for adventure and awe. Book a guided ice walk to see frozen waterfalls in Johnston Canyon or Grotto Canyon with your adventure partner.
After your tour, enjoy lunch at Banff Grizzly House Restaurant, another location which appears in Episode 4.
As evening falls, head to Vermilion Lakes for a chance to witness the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Even if the lights remain elusive, the star-filled sky offers a quiet, romantic space to end your journey.
